Both Susans parents ( Daniel and Lucy) and her sister Mary signed the “Deceleration of Sentiments” at the 2nd woman rights convention in NY in 1848.

Description of Accomplishments. Susan dedicated her life to “the cause”. The woman suffrage movement. Her accomplishments paved the way for the passage of the 19th amendment in 1920.(14 years after Susan died) it gave woman the right to vote.

Her Accomplishments(: Founded the national woman rights suffrage association in 1869 with life long friend Elizabeth Candy Stanton together they worked for woman's suffrage for over 50 years Published “ The revolution” from 1868-1870 a weekly paper about the woman suffrage movement whose motto read “ men their rights and nothing more , woman their rights and nothing less.” She was the first person arrested, put on trial and fined for voting on November 1872. Work sited. http://www.lKwdpl.org/wihuhio/anth-sus.htm This presentation is a very good start. When it was presented there was too much reading off the screen and not enough elaboration. Bullet points would be much better with notes with more information. There are a couple mistakes that distract from the presentation as well. With a little polishing and practicing giving the presentation this student was able to pass with a second attempt. See the rubric on the following slide for more details.

Student can elaborate on visual aid, and answer questions Student seems prepared but needs more practice for a polished presentation. Student can elaborate on visual aid. The student is somewhat prepared but it is clear that rehearsal is lacking. Student is not able to elaborate on visual aid and simply reads slides. Student does not seem at all prepared to present. Student fumbles over word choice and pronunciation and does not elaborate upon visual aid. Visual Aid Visual aid is polished and cohesive. It is easy to read, has a nice mix of text and visual. Visual aid is heavy on either text or visuals; it has a few mistakes that distract from the presentation. Visual aid is almost solely text or visuals; there are several mistakes that make the presentation difficult to follow. Visual aid detracts from the presentation, there are many mistakes, factual errors, and it has no balance between text and visual.
