Babis Theodoulidis University Living Lab Workshop Dr Babis Theodoulidis Teaching Opportunities on Sustainability

Babis Theodoulidis Business Team Project - Brief The University of Manchester Carbon Management Plan states that the university has a target to reduce carbon emissions by 3% annually. The UoM Sustainability Steering Group has identified a number of priority areas and actions for emissions savings. Working in teams your task is to analyse the carbon profile of the University using different technologies to collect, search, analyse and report on relevant information. Ideally, you should think about the carbon footprint and other data of the University and make recommendations on what actions need to be taken to improve the University profile. sponsored by

Babis Theodoulidis Why? Involving students that otherwise will have no contact with sustainability issues Development of business cases and proposed solutions from the students Disseminating information between the university stakeholders (especially IT and Estates) Awareness and behaviour change Enhancing student problem solving and engagement skills
