Strategic Plan Objectives:  To create and maintain active cooperation with the EU institutions, actively becoming involved in the international university organizations  To create joint study programmes on a European and Baltic level  To participate actively in Erasmus Mundus and other student exchange programmes, ensuring the recognition of studies abroad  To promote the engagement of UL researchers in post-doctoral studies in foreign universities and research centres, as well as to promote their return to Latvia, ensuring favourable conditions upon their return to the UL  To ensure high quality of studies for the exchange students and to achieve effective cooperation between faculties and departments
