My Biz My Biz is a web-based Self-Service HR module that grants access to your official personnel information. My Biz allows you to: View your personnel information 24/7 from your workstation Update specific fields of personal information Provide input on performance plans and accomplishments for performance appraisals https://compo.dcpds.cpms.osd.mil/ My Biz is a web-based Self-Service HR module that grants you access to information in your official personnel records. It allows you to view your personnel information at any time from your workstation, update specific personal information about yourself, and provide information on your performance plans. 1

Get Started Review Department of Defense (DoD) Notice and Consent Banner and select OK. Note: After selecting OK button, the DCPDS Portal page displays. This is a screen shot of the Self-Service HR Log-in screen. 2

DCPDS Portal Select the CAC Registration button in the CAC Access region.

DCPDS Portal Select your non-email certificate at the Choose a Digital Certificate screen. Select the OK button

DCPDS Portal Enter your PIN and select the OK button.

DCPDS Portal The DCPDS CAC Registration screen displays with your CAC Username. Enter the following in the CAC Registration region of the screen: Social Security Number (SSN)/Local National (LN) Employee ID. (Use hyphens if applicable) Confirm your SSN/Local National (LN) Employee ID. (Use hyphens if applicable) Input your SSAN with hyphens in both boxes Select the Register button. After selecting the Register button, the Validating Your HR/My Biz/My Workplace Database Information screen displays.

DCPDS Portal Enter the following in the Regions Association section of the screen: Enter your HR/My Biz/My Workplace Username. Confirm your HR/My Biz/My Workplace Username. Input your SSAN with hyphens in both boxes Select the Submit button.

DCPDS Portal If your username is validated on only one database, you will automatically access your HR/My Biz/My Workplace application. Select Go To Main Page button to continue.

DCPDS Portal Click on the NGB Region link to go to the DOD page.

DCPDS Portal If your username is not found on a database, an error message displays. Select the Back button and re-enter your information.

DCPDS Portal The next page to appear is the splash screen with DCPDS News. You can click into the box for “Do not show this screen again” and then click on the “Continue” button.

Access My Biz Here is the My Biz responsibility. My Information contains the employee’s information. Update My Information is the function used to update ethnicity and race information as well as foreign language proficiency. Here is the My Biz responsibility. The functions available to the employee user are provided in the middle area. There will be 4 current functions available to the user once the performance management module is deployed. This is a screen shot of the My Biz responsibility page. The functions that are available in My Biz are in the middle column. My Information contains the employee’s information. Update My Information is the function used to update Ethnicity and Race Identification as well as foreign language proficiency. 12

Access Your Information Selecting My Information from the My Biz Home Page will allow you to view your information. Secure, real-time, on-line access to your official personnel information Tabs provide further details on the following: Appointment Position Personal Salary Benefits Awards and Bonuses Performance Personnel Actions Select My Information on the My Biz Home Page to gain access to your official personnel information. The tabs provide further detail of your current personnel information. 13

Access Your Information Personnel Actions This is a screen shot of the My Information page. From this page, the user can navigate to the other tabs and see various pieces of information relative to the tab selected. 14

Update Your Information Selecting Update My Information from the My Biz Home Page permits you to update certain personal information. Phone Number Email Address Disability Codes Race and National Origin (Ethnicity and Race Identification) Foreign Language Proficiency Update My Information allows the employee to update and maintain personal information relevant to them alone. Phone number includes not only their work number, but other important numbers which would allow the manager or supervisor to reach them (or a family member) in case of emergency. Email address is for their current work email address. Disability codes and Race and National Origin (Ethnicity and Race Identification) are for self-identification purposes. Foreign language proficiency is for employees to indicate language proficiencies that cover speaking, writing, reading, and listening. 15

Update Your Information This is a screen shot of the Update My Information page where the user is able to update his/her information. The user can update various phone numbers, email address, disability code, foreign language proficiency, and Ethnicity and Race Identification. 16

Favorites The area identified as “Favorites” is created for all new My Biz accounts and contains approximately seven links to websites of importance to the employee. For example, we have provided links to the TSP Home page and the Retirement Home page for CSRS or FERS. As we add new information, a new link will be added to this area providing navigation information for the employees. This is a screen shot of the My Biz responsibility page. Favorites is a list of frequently visited HR websites of interest to employees. The default list includes the Thrift Savings Plan, the Office of Personnel Management, MyPay and more. You may add or remove favorites by selecting Edit Favorites.
