Those in Hell Cannot Warn Others Luke 16:27-31 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Our “God of Love” Would a “god of love” destine someone to such a terrible eternity?? 1. God is a “Holy” God. He cannot be in the presence of evil. (That includes us!) 2. God is a “Just” God. We ALL deserve this destiny. It is only by Jesus’ blood that ANY of us obtain anything better.

Our God of “Accountability” The alternative is that none of us are held accountable for anything. Have you learned anything from: 1. Our God of “Accountability” (Continued) “Maybe so – But I can’t really understand that.” What does “our understanding” have to do with it? Scripture is very clear on this subject. Our “infinite God” is not bound by our “puny understanding.”

Rejecting Christ No one ever goes to hell because they failed to do something. When it comes to righteousness, we all fail. People go to hell because they have placed their faith in baking soda and lemonade.

Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 2Thess 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Naw! What about those who don’t know any better?? Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.

2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. So whose choice is it to spend eternity in hell?
