The flag displayed on the center shield of the coat of arms. Two trunks symbolize the vast deciduous and coniferous forests. Two squirrels symbolize that people of Zelenograd take care of nature. A stylized drawing of the monument in silver or white is displayed on a red background in the lower right portion of the flag, which is divided into two portions by a gold and silver diagonal.. Opposite the monument on the flag is a stylized golden image of a microchip in the form of an equilateral cross. The monument symbolizes the important boundary in the defense of the capital, and the beginning of the defeat of Hitler’s troops in the environs of Moscow in 1941 Zelenograd is one of the most powerful centers of electronics, microelectronics and computer industry in Russia.
TThe Shtyki Memorial is a memorial complex in honor of those who defended Russia in the Battle of Moscow. At the site are a common grave and an architectural complex. I It is located on the 40th km of Leningrad highway, at the second entry into the city of Zelenograd heading south, and the road to Mendeleyevo heading north. T The memorial complex obtained its name because of the central obelisk, which represents the stylized image of three bayonets held together. The first burials in the common grave were in the winter of 1941; the architectural features were completed on 24 June T The architects of the project were I. A. Pokrovsky, and Y. A.Sverdlovsky, with sculptors A. G. Shteyman, and E. A. Shteyman-Derevyanko.
Т h е division was awarded with the order of Red Bannered for the courage and bravery during the crossing the Desna river. Т h е division finished it' s way in German and took part in the defeat of fascist а rm у in Berlin. It was during the difficult period when Russian casualties exceeded 3 million, when the supply of the division was cut down and the soldiers could count only о n their own strength. If you look back о n the history of this cavalry division you will see that despite the difficulties and h о rr о rs and losses every soldier kept о n doing his best to defeat the enemies. Battles for settlement К rukovo is one of the brightest pages of our history. Soldiers and officers of Dovator’s division fought with fasciest armies side b у side with the guard division Panfilov. After battles for Moscow the division set off towards Kirov.
Despite the difficulties and horrors and losses every soldier kept on doing his best to defeat the enemies…
