Page 6 of 28 Who studies what? Q: Erasmus Mundus Master Course (EMMC) Students choose different courses – depending on their origin Most of the non-EU citizens study engineering & natural sciences, whereas the EU citizens prefer Humanities and Social Sciences.

Page 9 of 28 The European Union: The Place to Be? Q: How do you rate the EU as a study destination? Participants in 2010 Graduates rate the study destination EU significantly more positive than students (t=-3,21, df=664, p< 0.05). This positive estimation does not differ among EU and non EU citizens.

Most (and especially engineers/natural scientists 66,7%) stay because of better job opportunities and because they like the EU working environment. Page 27 of 28 Erasmus Mundus – A Success Story No doubt Erasmus Mundus is a great chance in terms of students‘ career, often fostering an academic career Erasmus Mundus offers great opportunities to develop private and professional networks; in some courses even more than in others Erasmus Mundus has already been extablished as a better known brand; however, there is more good news to spread!
