The survey with the main goal to reveal the causes of pupil‘s absence from school and to help them to solve these problems took place in 17 schools of Ukmerge and its district on May The survey had a questionnaire of 12 questions and was anonymous so the pupils could fell free to complete the research. Prepared recomendations:  To find out the main causes for non-attendance at school in psychological, pedagogical, social, medical and other aspects.  To discuss the causes for non-attendance at school in Child Welfare Commissions.  To clarify the character of the problem (psychological, social, pedagogical, etc.) and prepare a model of assistance to the student and his family.  To prepare a plan of individual assistance for solving a certain problem to a school team (participation of experts is essential).  To prepare individual plans for children with no motivation to study, to apply certain methods of education.  To supplement the plan of individual assistance by a Tripartite Agreement, signed by a student, his/her parents, and a school representative.  To enhance cooperation with parents: to seek after new forms of information, consulting and social assistance; carry out their education.  To pay more attention to creation attractive environment at school and good microclimate.  To create a new “Procedure Description of recording student attendance and prevention of non-attendance” to the project implementation team and test it in a pilot school.
