Why do we meet today? To summarise after 5 years of developments - jointly with interested EIONET countries First ideas and then a concept Building and using a system To demonstrate the full operational usage Tool by tool Content by content To get support from a major client: DG Environment To discuss process related issues

What are the goals? Improve European environmental reporting by: Streamlining Quality improvement Ensuring transparency and availability of information reported by countries
