Objective Research, Proposal, Development and Verification of:  foresight indicators and  foresight tools of the environment and development of collaboration platform between private and academic sector.

Activity 1: Research of the package of foresight key indicators of the environment Outputs: Package of foresight indicators of the environment Methodology of their creation and usage Choosing of three project main areas of the environment Content of activity: Analysis of the today’s state, of the trends and used approaches in EEA, OECD, Slovakia and in 3 selected EU member countries by foresight indicators of the environment (scenarios, outlooks, models, etc.). Development of the package of foresight indicators of the environment in term of Slovakia. Development of the methodology of its creation and usage.

Activity 2: Research of the foresight tools system base of the environment Outputs: Information on the status of foresight tools of the environment in Slovakia and abroad Proposal of foresight tools of the environment for three project main areas of the environment Content of activity: Analysis of the today’s state in EEA, OECD, Slovakia and in 3 selected EU member countries by usage of the foresight tools of the environment. Selection of scenarios, outlooks, models which could be shared in Slovakia conditions (or modified) with focus on three project main areas of the environment.

Activity 3: Generation of the development environment for the foresight tools of the environment Outputs: Foresight tools of the environment in three areas. Integration platform of outlooks of the environment in Slovakia – “SK Outlook” Technical environment for the sharing of knowledges and for collaboration of experts Guidelines Content of activity: Development environment for research in area of foresight indicators. Development environment for the foresight tools of the environment. Integration platform for environmental outlook from the Slovakia perspective – “SK Outlook”. Proposal of procedures for development of foresight tools in next areas of environment and its integration to the “SK Outlook”. Development of platforms for sharing of knowledges and for expert’s network

Activity 4: Formation of the knowledge base and network of experts for collaboration on foresights Outputs: Knowledge base Network of experts (potencial as part of the SEIS) Content of activity: Broad discussion about partial outputs Workshops and seminars Leaflets Presentations in Slovakia and abroad Building of: - shared knowledge base - network of experts EEA and EIONET involvement (NRC FLIS)
