Normally, up to 2 researchers per signatory country per individual MC or WG meeting can be reimbursed This is a maximum, not an entitlement, to ensure a reasonable international balance among the participants. In addition, a limited number of invited experts can be reimbursed. For WG meetings, selection can be delegated to the WG Coordinator and the MC Chair, after nomination by the MC of MC members themselves or other researchers drawn from the respective national research communities.

Allow a researcher (especially early-stage) to go to an institution in another COST country to foster cooperation Duration of the mission: from 5 days up to 3 months Grant: normally up to EUR Special STSMs for Early Stage Researchers (< PhD+8 years): up to 6 months with a grant of up to 3500 EUR Application procedure: through the online tool. Prior MC approval necessary.
