History and B-day of Zion *January *Evidence of Ancestrial Puebloans, known as the Anasazi, from 2,000 years ago; Paiutes from 800 years ago to now. Mormon settlers arrived in 1860s. Park visitation in 1920 was about 3,692; in 1996 it reached 2.5 million.

Activities You can go camping, horse trails, backpacking, wheelchair trails/camps, bird-watching and much, much more.

Climate Be vary prepared for a wide range of all the weather conditions. Temperatures may vary with changes in the elevation, every day and evening temperatures may vary by over 30-degrees Fahrenheit.
