Introduction expert vs. practitioner 5-min. warning Re-Invention of the wheel? I’m not an expert, I just use it to teach students and they learn better. Using GIS has shown to improve student’s attitude which affects their self-esteem and increase student achievement. 5 min. warning – need a person to notify me 5 min. before each break to wrap things up. It works well in my classroom. I get focused on helping others that time passes too quickly. The wheel was already invented. Good teachers use good resources. There are tons available. Don’t go through the hassle of creating your own from scratch if someone else has already done it. Take what I have and use it or modify it to fit your needs.
