HSPE- Reading, Writing, Math & Science AKA- WASL HSPE- Reading, Writing, Math & Science AKA- WASL HSPE= High School Proficiency Exam HSPE= High School Proficiency Exam  Benefits= shorter exam, fewer days The Class or 2011 must pass reading and writing to graduate. What Can Parents Do? Talk to your son/daughter about what they may be thinking about doing after graduation? Offer support and encouragement. Be a member of your child’s support team. Educate yourself about the college process or training programs in which your child is interested. Consider all options with your student. Help keep track of important dates and deadlines. Attend meetings such as (conferences, Parent Nights, College Nights and Financial Aid Nights). Monitor your child’s stress level. Ask questions!
