LE  All Evaluatees (Educators/Librarians/Counselors) select & complete one & only one, Educator Self Assessment  Librarians also serving as classroom teachers will complete the Educator Self Assessment for Librarians  Counselors also serving as classroom teachers will complete the Educator Self Assessment for Counselors  Counselors & Librarians unsure of which Educator Self Assessment to complete will seek direction from their Evaluator

LE  The completed Educator Self Assessment provides the basis for a meaningful conversation between the Evaluator and Evaluatee.  From this conversation, the Evaluator and Evaluatee will determine plans for professional growth and implementation.  Meaningful dialogue should result in finalizing indicators, selected from the completed Educator Self Assessment, assigned to the PLP.

LE “Levels of Practice” selected by the Evaluatee will not necessarily determine the indicator(s) assigned to the PLP for professional growth. Indicators assigned to PLP should reflect the most significant professional growth needs for the Evaluatee, regardless of selected “Level of Practice.”

LE  Evaluatees and Evaluators will finalize the PLP at the beginning of the school year, after the Educator Self Assessment is complete and the Dialogue is held.  Evaluatees are responsible for entering the PLP content.
