Today in Themes… Gathering information about how your classmates respond to the book you’ve chosen Use this info to help clarify what YOU value in literature, how YOU make choices. This information may be useful later in this unit as you: – Reflect on who you are as a reader – Participate in class conversations about the value of literature – Write a letter recommending the book to a specific audience

Procedure Owner of book place sticky note to show where classmates should start reading. Book pass: – Read new book ~5 minutes – Complete survey, place in envelope. – Repeat x4 End of class, owner of book will analyze survey responses
