United States came in after a Passenger Liner with Americans onboard was sunk by German U- boats.

What Happened During WWII Hitler was after land, and annoyed everyone to get what he wanted. He blamed the Jews for all German problems and socially secluded them, later killed them. Japan wanting territory, the East side of Russia, signed with the Germans to get it. Japan, wanting to keep the United States out of the war, attacked Pearl Harbor, bringing the United States into the war, and the allies won.
