NMDPS - MTD Oversize/overweight Permitting System Project Project Overview MTPD provides trip permits, oversize/overweight permits and routing to commercial carriers that operate on our highways This project is to replace the current outdated system Selected vendor is ProMiles Software Development Corporation System has been used in 5 other states before New Mexico The system will provide: Oversize/overweight permits Accurate routing to carriers Advanced technologies – mapping, routing, web based Improved system response time Timely trip permits Automated and less labor intensive System uses map data for routing to be housed at the Earth Data Analysis Center (EDAC)
