London Technology Apprenticeship Programme Role Description Location: London Requirement: Full-time. The terms of employment are three one-year fixed term contracts, with a six-month probationary period for the first year. Entry level company benefits will also apply. Salary: 1st year: £12,000. 2nd year: £13,000. 3rd year: £14,000 plus £1,500 bonus What Would You Be Doing? Our Technology Solution team members work directly with clients from many major UK and multi-national companies. We help turn innovative ideas into effective technology solutions by developing, enhancing and testing IT applications and services. Who Do We Want to Attract? People who are looking for an exciting and challenging career with Technology Do You Need To Be Skilled In This Area? No. During your first few weeks with us you will learn all about the way that we work as well as having the opportunity to learn technical and general work skills. After that you will work alongside experienced employees in one of our specialised areas as well as starting your college course. Your First Year: Throughout your first year you will have the opportunity to experience different roles in different areas, before specialising in a particular technology in your second and third years. You will complete your Advanced Apprenticeship qualification in your first year and start your Foundation Degree course in your second year with the company

London Technology Apprenticeship Programme Apprenticeship Qualifications YEAR 1 Level 3 Apprenticeship qualification An Advanced Apprenticeship for IT, Software, Web & Telecoms Professionals, including Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Professional Competence for IT & Telecoms Professionals (QCF) & Subsidiary Diploma in IT YEARS 2 AND 3 Level 4 Apprenticeship qualification and Foundation degree in Technology A Higher Apprenticeship for IT, Software, Web & Telecoms Professionals, including a Foundation Degree and Level 4 BTEC Diploma in Professional Competence for IT & Telecoms Professionals (QCF) The qualifications will be certified by a leading apprenticeship and foundation degree provider

London Technology Apprenticeship Programme Outcomes Graduates from the programme will be experienced and skilled technology practitioners, capable of attaining technology related permanent employment jobs. London Technology Apprenticeship Programme Applying for the London Apprenticeship Scheme Step 1 - Application Apply online by sending your CV with a brief overview of any experience that you have (we understand that you may not have had any/much as yet), as well as a covering note outlining why you're interested in the programme. Step 2 – Face to Face Interview If your application meets our entry requirement, we'll invite you to a face to face interview. During this we'll take you through a series of questions that are designed to see if you've got the skills that you'll need for the role. Step 3 - Assessment Centre Do well in your interview and you'll be invited to an assessment centre where you'll meet various people and take part in a range of activities (such as a group exercise) to see your skills in action. If it looks like you are a good match after the assessment centre, we'll invite you to join the programme. The Apprenticeship s not open to candidates who hold a Level 4 qualification or above. Any offer of employment to successful candidates will be subject to them passing our Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check.
