ARSF – Important Dates 11 Aug – 18 Aug – Pylons onboard for PCASP test etc 19 August – Pylons shipped to Arica 29 Sep – 3 Oct – Instrument Fit, Kiddlington 6 – 10 Oct – ARSF leave / Contingency 10 Oct – Lidar Fit 16 – 24 Oct – Transit to Arica 26 Oct – 14 Nov – Science flying 16 Nov – 26 Nov – Transit to Kidlington and de-fit

Instruments/Status Eagle/Hawk – Hyperspectral imagers (Vis-NIR) – Approved, ARSF-operated Aerosol Lidar – Leosphere. Approved, Hugo Ricketts AIMMS-20 – Thermodynamics and turbulence, OK Grimm 1.09 – OPC 3-25 um - OK PCASP-100 – Approved. Shipped end of July, Need to get to ARSF quickly for test before pylons are shipped. Aerosol Lidar, shipped by Leosphere. Fitted th Oct FSSP-100 – Coarse mode aerosol/cloud Polarimeter – Thomas Ruhtz

Personnel / Crew Rotation 4 Seats – Mission Scientist, Eagle/Hawk operator, Lidar Operator, Polarimeter operator 3 pilots, 2 ARSF technical staff (Phil Goy + Gary Llewelyn) No double-crewing of aircrew! 7/8 th Nov hard down days due to switchover

Data Flow Eagle/Hawk – QA assessed in field, Calibrated images processed by PML (1 month turnaround). Lidar – QA assessed in field. Possible quick- looks/images. Thermodynamic and aerosol instruments – Assessed in field, quick-looks available. All data backed up to a central hard-drive/server
