What is GEN R 8? Why the need? Where? Some NCH photographs are posed by models.

Who We Work With 16 – 25 year olds who are: currently homeless and need to resettle in the community potentially homeless, facing family breakdown or in housing need leaving care and need to resettle in the community having difficulty sustaining their existing tenancy We work in partnership with agencies such as: Social Work Housing Providers Voluntary Sector Local Youth Services

Some NCH photographs are posed by models. We believe that all young people should have access to services which help them become confident individuals, effective contributors, successful learners and responsible citizens and we believe that a stable and secure environment is essential to young people realising their potential. Our registration with the Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care enables us to provide a Housing Support service to young people aged 16 – 25 years. Our focus on local services with flexibility of response is reflected in Glasgow City Council’s Supporting People Strategy which identifies youth homelessness as a key priority. We will work in partnership with young people and relevant agencies to maximise access to universal and specialist services. The support which our service provides ensures dignity, privacy, choice, safety and respect whilst promoting equality and diversity in relation to our staff and the people who use our service.
