STUDENT’S GUIDE

 Unit III is entitled Understanding Western Influences. In this chapter, we will explore 4 of the noted literatures formulated in the western hemisphere. We will also discover ways to appreciate the stirrings and inspirations of the great authors who had penned and helped shaped the literary history.

There are certain things you may want to know before we throttle down this beautiful piece into bits. So in the next slides, you’ll be seeing a few links that will lead to important sites. Take note of the following as you prod these colorful ways to extra knowledge : On the Author :  Grasp the basis of personality  Motivations On the Poem/Story :  Theme / Overall Mood of the piece.  Analysis  Formulate assumptions regarding possible interpretations  Societal problems present in the piece.
