MI 112 Description How can SWE provide assistance to unemployed members? Unemployment is a situation that may affect a significant portion of SWE’s members and potential members for the next few years, and as such, we need to evaluate how SWE can retain and provide services to its unemployed members.

Collegiate Survey Results What resources do collegians use in job search? I think SWE needs to highly encourage going to graduate school. I do not see SWE as an organization that advertises or educates their members on this subject. Campus Job Links / Campus Career Center Craigslist, SWE website, network with contacts How do collegians go about approaching the job search process? They begin by talking to professionals while volunteering with outreach events. Online Resources Workshops, Company Info Sessions
