Northern & Yorkshire Cancer Registry & Information Service NHS NYCRIS Workshop 27 July 2009 Cancer Mortality Targets The target for cancer mortality (ages under 75) is by 2010 to reduce mortality rates for England by at least 20% and the absolute gap in mortality rates between England and the Spearhead Group by at least 6%, from a 1995/6/7 baseline.
