It took 26 years to reach the first 3 million projected only 7 years to reach the next 2 million.

Student mobility Study period abroad at a partner HEI Traineeship abroad in an enterprise Student mobility

Student mobility eligibility criteria Students at all levels of higher education Recent graduates (traineeships only) 12 months per study cycle (includes participation in LLP) From 3 to 12 months for studies From 2 to 12 months for traineeships Students at all levels of Higher education can participate Recent graduates can now participate -they must apply in their final year and undertake and complete the traineeship within one year after graduation. Activities to be undertaken must have been agreed in a learning agreement prior to the start of the mobility. To ensure high quality activities that have maximum impact on students the mobility has to be part of the student’s study programme or in the case of a traineeship it should be and intergrated part of the study programme

Countries with higher living costs, medium living costs, and lower living costs. NA will adivse on grant amounts when application forms are available. Grants are set by EC therefore no PC grant

What to remember - WP is for study only as students on traineeships will receive the top-up for traineeships. No PC grant.

To help with this the ec have… EC want to capture improvement after mobility period hence mandatory assessment prior to start of mobility and upon return.

Staff mobility Teaching period at a partner HEI Training period e.g. training events (excluding conferences), job shadowing 2 days to 2 months (excluding travel days) Minimum 8 teaching hours per week.

Staff mobility funding Travel (page 45) Unit costs (flat rates) - Paid according to distance travelled. Distance calculator will be provided by EC Subsistence (page 46) Unit costs – dependant on receiving country Travel days are not eligible for subsistence payments. Staff can no longer receive subs for travel days i.e if additional to the days when teaching/ training commences /ends/ See grant rates on pages 45 (travel) and 46 (subs) of programme guide. We have used 100% of these rates
