Welcome to THE CARLTON ACADEMY YEAR 7 RESIDENTIAL 2012 Parents Presentation

 To make the transition from primary to secondary education as smooth as possible.  To equip the students in year 7 with the attitudes and skills that will allow them to achieve their individual potential during their time with us.

 Increase self-confidence through overcoming challenges in a supportive environment  Increase skills in working / collaborating with others, communication and planning  Enjoy and experience new adventures  Develop respect and responsibility for self, others and the natural environment  Develop organisational skills and a sense of responsibility  Develop and improve personal awareness and the confidence to make a contribution in collaborative situations  Develop the skills to become independent learners by taking responsibility for tasks and commitments
