2 Point Perspective 2 point perspective drawings are a type of pictorial drawing. They are a realistic drawing of an object showing it as if it were disappearing towards 2 vanishing points in the distance.

2 Point Perspective These are the 2 vanishing points we will use to construct the drawing. Vanishing Point Right (VPR) Vanishing Point Left (VPL) All depths in the drawing will be projected towards these 2 points.

2 Point Perspective This line is the front of the shape. All heights in the drawing must be drawn vertically.

2 Point Perspective We will now project the base of the shape back to each of the vanishing points.

2 Point Perspective Now project the top of the shape back to each of the vanishing points.

2 Point Perspective Now project the back of the shape back to each of the vanishing points. You cannot make accurate measurements using a ruler when drawing a perspective drawing. Instead estimate the sizes by using a suitable proportion of sizes in the drawing.

2 Point Perspective Now project the heights from the top of the shape down to the base Remember, all heights in the drawing must be drawn vertically.

2 Point Perspective You shown now darken in the outline of your shape.

2 Point Perspective All depths go to one of the vanishing points. All heights are drawn vertically. You cannot measure lengths. Instead estimate all distances, being careful to keep your drawing in a good proportion.
