Select a face on the surface of your part you wish to transfer to ProFab. With SolidWorks and ProFab running, select the Transfer to ProFab icon in SolidWorks.

…after assigning a number and name to your part using the New Part icon. Create a layout using the Place Part icon… Choose a rotation angle for the part on your sheet.

Tool Manager Use a standard turret configuration or let ProFab’s Auto Tool feature load the required tools for the job.

The stock size and placement can be entered automatically or manually. The number of clamps and their positions may be adjusted. Optimize allows you to reduce your machine cycle time, rearranging the operations automatically.

Create Machine Code generates the output file for DNC to your machine tool.
