5 38% of respondents would like to see David Norris as the next president. Of those that selected the other category the majority don’t know who they would like to see as the next president. Michael D Higgins was the second most popular of the listed candidates. 71% of respondents do not have a preference for a politician or a non politician to become the next president while 23% would like to see a non politician take up the role and 6% would prefer a politician.
