Zoe Campbell, Business Development Lead Mears and Good Care Week

Who is Mears Group?  Leading provider of repairs, adaptations and home improvement to the Social Housing Sector, supporting c. 600,000 homes.  8 million hours of Care and Support per year to people in their own homes.

 Using our skills and experience to carry out community-based projects.  Providing two days each year of paid leave for staff to take part in volunteering projects and supporting branch fund- raising initiatives for projects and charities identified by local staff. Raising the Profile of Care Staff volunteered 22,353 hours in their communities around the UK in In 2012, 648 projects were undertaken by Mears staff Most of our staff live in the communities where we work. In our communities raising the profile of the sector locally

Raising the Profile of Care Our Customer Care team support local branches to gain recognition for their work in local media.
