 Using our skills and experience to carry out community-based projects.  Providing two days each year of paid leave for staff to take part in volunteering projects and supporting branch fund- raising initiatives for projects and charities identified by local staff. Raising the Profile of Care Staff volunteered 22,353 hours in their communities around the UK in In 2012, 648 projects were undertaken by Mears staff Most of our staff live in the communities where we work.
