Cadbury Schweppes. What did we find out? How are they ethical? Who do they work with to make sure they are ethical?

Ethics. The VALUES and BELIEFS which influence how individuals, groups and societies behave.

Get into groups of 4…. If businesses are becoming more aware of groups of people external to the business that are not stakeholders they are said to have greater ‘Social Responsibility’ in pairs identify what ‘social responsibility’ is. Can your group think of actual businesses that have been or are in the news at the moment because of the responsibility they may have?

Social Responsibility The impact of businesses upon society. Historically businesses have been influenced by their immediate Stakeholders. Other groups also influence business activity. What pressure groups can you think of and why do they exist?
