Why study Latin? Develops awareness of how languages work Develops skills valued by universities and employers Helps with getting to know the terminology of language learning Encourages logical thinking and problem-solving Explores the world of the Romans - a key culture and civilisation of 2000 years ago 10/12/20142

Why study Latin at a distance? Very little provision in schools for this valuable subject Develops independent learning skills Helps acquisition of self-organisation and self-motivation Develops ability to manage weekly workload Contrasts with normal way of studying a subject in school Working with expert tutor who knows how to make the subject come alive! Contact available outside of lessons for additional support Written work marked and returned promptly every week A maturing experience for the student 10/12/20143
