Energy / Environment: renewable energy, economic building construction, non-polluting facotries … Transport: clean vehicules, safe intelligent automobiles, automation of air traffic control… Health: new therapies (cancer, degenerative diseases), non- invasive surgery, biophotonics… Information Technology: very high speed network, network security, new interfaces, micro-electro-mechanical systems… Strategic potential areas

European cooperation European-scale projects. Encourage intergovernmental framework for industrial cooperation around the MPII. Agency should be coordinated with the EUREKA initiative.
