MISSION STATEMENT ▪ To provide the faculty and staff with the opportunity to adopt a healthy lifestyle by integrating, promoting, and educating the district on the importance of health and wellness. Keep on going! Make a plan Sign up

WHY A WELLNESS PROGRAM? ▪ Healthier employees make better associates ▪ Positive sense of well being is a key component of a healthy and productive employee ▪ Lower healthcare cost ▪ Increase productivity ▪ Enhance job satisfaction ▪ Improve morale and attendance

WHAT DOES A WELLNESS PROGRAM OFFER? Health promotion Education Prevention Screenings Worksite wellness programs Fitness Incentives You feel better!

CURRENT INITIATIVE? ▪ Get Out and Get Fit Challenge- Jan-Mar 2014 ▪ Complete the challenge of exercising at least 600 minutes a month to be entered into a drawing for $50.00 at each site! (Any form of exercise. (Example: walking, running, aerobics, zumba) Must be a benefit eligible employee ▪ GRAND PRIZE at the end of the three months- (1)$ district wide. Must have successfully completed all three months to be entered into this drawing! ▪ A quick survey will be ed to you at the end of each month

GET OUT & GET FIT ▪ Make small steps to improve fitness: ▪ Walk stairs instead of elevator ▪ Park further away ▪ Walk around block
