LEADERSHIP PROFILES  One Leadership Profile is required for each applicant.  The profile is completed by your current, immediate supervisor (principal for school- based, or director for district-based) during a meeting with you. 10/4/2010 9

For Broward County Public Schools’ School-Based Applicants:  Send an to Catrice Duhart via CAB  The subject of your must be your last name, first name and the words “Intent to Apply to AP Pool” October 2010  Example:  Duhart,Catrice – Intent to APPLY to AP POOL October /4/

For Broward County Public Schools’ School-Based Applicants:  The body of your must include  Name of your current principal or immediate supervisor who will be completing the Leadership Profile  Name of your school and Area (N, C, S or “D” for District)  Name of the Area Director for your school 10/4/

For Broward County Public Schools’ School-Based Applicants:  Non-Instructional Staffing will send the leadership profile to your administrator for scoring  Contact your principal/administrator to set a time to complete your Leadership Profile 10/4/

For Broward County Public Schools’ District-Based Applicants:  Follow all directions for School-Based Applicants AND  Provide the name of current supervisor and the name of his/her Executive Leadership Team Member 10/4/

For Applicants Not Employed by Broward County Public Schools:  Follow all directions for Broward Schools Employees AND:  Send to  Provide name and address of the administrator who will score the leadership profile. Also send the name and address of the administrator’s immediate supervisor 10/4/

Evidence of Experiences  A way of documenting your unique experiences in nine of the ten areas of the Florida Principal Leadership Standards 10/4/

 Anonymity must be maintained.  Do not include any information in the body of your Evidence of Experiences that could identify you. Put your name only in the header and  Remove all references to:  Your School  Your Area  Your Innovation Zone 10/4/

 You must send your Evidence of Experiences to your current administrator  He/She will verify the Evidence of Experiences and approve it by ing it to the AP Pool CAB Conference  “AP Pool Application” – for CAB Users  for all 10/4/

 Focus on targeted AYP subgroups (student achievement)  Be specific and quantify (use data)  Decrease Negatives  Increase Positives  Indicate RESULTS of your experiences where applicable  Set yourself apart from others 10/4/

Acceptance to the AP Pool is a two-phase process. Phase 1  Leadership Profile is scored by your administrator and reviewed by Area Director/ELT Member  Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications will move to phase 2 of the selection process. 10/4/

Phase 2  Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications will be interviewed by a panel of Principals and Area Directors  Applicants will be notified via of results of interviews  Successful applicants may begin applying for advertised assistant principal vacancies 10/4/
