NGfL CYMRU GCaD NEXT The next slide contains a grid of natural and made materials to use when playing ‘What am I?’ In a similar style to the game of ‘Guess Who?’, one pupil needs to choose one of the materials onscreen and keep it to themselves. This game works best if the pupil knows the properties of the material chosen (alternatively, the teacher could quickly create some support cards with key properties on that the pupil can use to help them respond to others). Other children can then take it in turns trying to work out which material was chosen by asking a question based on material properties e.g. ‘Are you flexible?’ Like ‘Guess Who?’ a negative answer means that the child/group/class need to remove incorrect answers from the grid by clicking once on them (whilst in slideshow mode). They will be ‘yellowed’ out and the questions can continue until someone makes a correct guess or only the answer remains on the grid!
