What does inspiration mean and how does it help designers? They will make notes, sketches,take photographs and videos of anything that generates creative ideas. They then use these ideas as a source of inspiration to create unique and exciting designs. Inspiration is when you see, hear, touch, taste something that gives you a creative idea. Designers will research the work of other designers/ areas of interest, by reading books, magazines, internet searches, visiting museums, exhibitions and even travelling to different countries, to name but a few.
