Composition and angle

 Imagine the grid in your viewfinder  Think of eye flow  If it feels cluttered it is cluttered  Change your angle  Don’t be afraid to tilt your camera!  Change the field of view(wide narrow)  Think of photos you’ve seen before  Move fast so you don’t miss the shot!

 Sometimes flash can come out very ugly

 Find something to set or hold camera to stabilize it  Hold your breath  Hold your arms close to your body  Strike a pose  Adjust the way you hold your camera  Use flash diffuse filter(see later slide)

 Scan with your eyes for a target, always look for shots  Find one? No time to think? Snap it fast! You (I) can still edit it later!  Don’t be shy or formal, take it! The best photos are the ones that are taken completely off guard  If you are too shy to get closer distance is fine, keep the rules in mind we can edit it later.  Tilt the camera, sometimes hitting an angle can be very effective.  Crouch, stand on your tippy toes, even blind shot it!

 Don’t Ask! Especially don’t ask!  Don’t wait  Don’t fear  Don’t disturb  Don’t worry  Don’t waste your battery  Don’t skimp on the photos  Don’t be afraid of manual actions  Don’t invade personal space

 The point is to get the event as if someone else was there  Take it faster than they can react!  If you feel emotional try to make the photo emotional  Purity with attention to artistic methods  Never stage!  Keep your camera on hand at all times  Bring extra batteries if possible  Don’t forget what the main event is  Sometimes the people can be beneficial to the subject  Keep moving, people don’t need to talk to you
