 He was born on January 30, He was born very wealthy. He was private tutors. At age nine, he went to his first school in Germany. His parents where temporarily living there.

 They married on March 17,1905.  They second cousins  Eleanor was 19 and FDR was 22

 He graduated at Harvard. Then after college he attend law school. Harvard has produced many presidents.

One of the biggest obstacles was polio. He could not walk. He got polio when he was 39 Then he went to warm springs, Georgia, because he new that the warm water was now to help people with polio. He liked it so much that he bought a house. He called it the little white house.

 Franklin D. Roosevelt governor was elected in  Before that he was a New York senate.  He stared as governor on January 1 st,1929

 He was elected president in 1932  He was the 32 nd president of the USA.  He was 50 when he was elected.

 In the great depression was the reason they opened The New Deal.  The great depression was if people did not have jobs and homes.  It started when the banks closed.  He wanted everybody to have a equal life
