Early Life Albert was born February 22,1930 in Hampton, Virginia. Albert wrote his first paper when he was 18 (on mathematical biology). One year later, (1949) he earned a Ph.D. in Mathematical Biology from the University of Iowa.

Civil rights leader Albert was a civil rights leader for the 1965 Voting Rights from Salem to Montgomery, Alabama. He was a part of Martin Luther King’s funeral. It was his job to lead the mule that carried Martin’s body.
Death Turner died in Selma, Alabama on April 13, He was great because he wrote many books on algebra and different types of math.
