Through the shared responsibility of all stakeholders, students will be prepared as lifelong learners and as participating, contributing members of our dynamic and diverse community. MISSION: The mission of the Paulding County School District is to prepare ALL students for success in the 21st century.

Human Resources Division Employee Services New Employee To Do List: New Employee Acknowledgement must be completed within the first 5 days of employment. The Acknowledgment is located on the PCSD Intranet site. _______________________ Signature – Date You must enroll in the non-health benefits within 31 days of your hire date. www.mypauldingbenefits.com or contact the Benefits Call Center @ 678-564-0769. _________________________ Signature – Date If you do not enroll, your benefits will be waived. This can have a negative impact on guaranteed issue and future enrollment options. You will be enrolled in $10,000 employee paid voluntary life.

Human Resources Division Employee Services Full-time employees shall earn sick leave at the rate of 1-1/4 days for each completed month worked. 9-month employees earn 11-1/4 days sick leave per year. 10-month employees earn 12-1/2 days sick leave per year. 11-month employees earn 13-3/4 days sick leave per year. 12-month employees earn 15 days sick leave *3 days out of the total number can be considered personal days. *If your days are not used by the end of the year, they roll over as sick days for the upcoming school year. *Only 45 days of sick leave will transfer from in-state systems
