Potential November 2014 Bond Jurupa Unified School District June 16, 2014 Jared Boigon, Partner Amanda Sintes, Consultant

Reached out to influential community organizations to inform them of the District’s facility needs and possibility of seeking a bond measure to address these needs – Rotary– Eddie D. Smith – Lions Club– DAC – DELAC – Country Village A comment card was provided to capture feedback and comments from community members, who made clear their support of JUSD schools Focus Group Presentations *Not all questions answered on all submissions

A community survey was recently mailed to all registered voters and parents in the District It provided information on the District’s academic achievements and facility improvement needs A tear-off and online survey were included in the mailing to capture voters’ priorities for facility improvements Community Mailer and Facilities Survey

Wrap up focus group presentations and provide final summary of findings Conduct a scientific voter survey to gauge support among voters for a potential bond measure Based on survey results determine if there is enough support in the community to proceed with placing a bond measure on the November 2014 ballot Next Steps…
