Patient unique ID A string of characters of fixed or variable length which is used to dereference an object within a system A set of characters permanently assigned to an individual for identification purposes and is truly unique [not shared with any other individual] MINISTRY OF MEDICAL SERVICES MINISTRY OF PUBLIC HEALTH & SANITATION
