Presentation transcript:

What cells need is oxygen and nutrients. The get oxygen from us breathing in from trees and air. We get nutrients from food. To get the oxygen to the cells we breathe in and the lungs give the oxygen to the blood. Then the blood travels to the cell and the cell uses the oxygen and the blood comes back to get rid of waste. To get the nutrients from food to the cells we go this process called the digestive system. We take in the food, chew it and send it to the stomach. Then the stomach takes out the nutrients and gives it to the blood. After that the blood carries the nutrients to the cell and drops it off.

Cells need to get rid of carbon dioxide if not the cell will die/explode. Also it needs to get rid of solid and liquid waste. Without doing this we will poison ourselves and die. Once the cell uses oxygen the blood circulates to the cell, picks up the carbon dioxide, and once we breathe out the carbon dioxide is released. The cell also needs to get rid of solid and liquid waste. This process if the second half of the digestive system. Once the nutrients is pulled away the waste is sent to the small intestine. The small intestine then breaks down the food even more into solid waste?. Then it is sent to the large intestine. Once there it is broken down more and is formed into the liquid waste?. Once all of that is done the kidney cleans the blood, and that turns into more liquid waste. After all of that was done you go to the bathroom. You do this every time you eat.

Cell will die, then tissues will die, then organs will die and then it will effect the organ system DEAD CELL!!!!!
