Teasing Mr. Crocodile Multiple Intelligences Applied *Musical *Visual/Spatial *Bodily/Kinesthetic *Logical/Mathematical

OBJECTIVES: Students will learn the basic Subtraction concept of “take away” by singing the song Teasing Mr. Alligator. FRAMEWORKS: MATH NO.3.K.2. Develop strategies for basic subtraction facts: counting back; -one less, two less. NO.3.K.3 Solve problems by using a variety of methods and tools (e.g., objects, and/or illustrations, with and without appropriate technology and mental computations). FRAMEWORKS: MUSIC M.1.K.1. Sing a variety of simple songs alone and with others; steady beat; fast and slow; high and low pitch; loud and soft. M.2.K.3. Respond to music through movement (e.g., gross motor movement, freestyle). M.4.K.2. Identify connections between music and the other fine arts (e.g., visual art) between music and disciplines outside the arts (e.g., children’s literature).
