Section:1 One awful afternoon in the month of August a Hurricane warning was broadcasted on the T.V. A huge hurricane was on its way and would hit Louisiana in less than an hour. I started to harvest my most important things for the long trip to Mississippi.

Section:2 As I was looking around I located my cat sitting by the door. Seeing him reminded me when my mom first brought him home. He was so small back then. I picked up my cats toys and put them in a mini-suitcase and tied it to his tail. Now my cat was finished packing

Section:3 After getting all the cats things I looked around for the laptop my dad had given me. The first thing I had to find was the charger cable. Ah, there it is, plugged into the wall by the sofa. Now to find the laptop it self.,“Hmm… where is it,” I wondered. Oh look, my mom was holding it for me. “ Thanks mom,” I said. “Now where did I leave the extra battery,” I thought. Ah hah! Right on my bookshelf.

Section:4 I was about to leave when I remembered my chains. They were given to me by my grandparents for Christmas as a sign of their love. One is a silver cross, I’ve never taken it off since the day they gave it to me. This is, because it means so much to me. It has four diamonds in it, one for each side of the cross. The other chain is my dog tags. It has a silver chain with two sheets of metal with Alex Mayer MMPP Patrol indented in them.

Section: 4 After an hour of packing, a news report comes on and says that the hurricane missed us. Instead it hit Florida. I was so thankful I could stay home, but I felt sorry for all the people in Florida. I hope they all got out quickly.
