Mini lesson: Strong Lead Today, we will learn how to begin your essay with strength.

Mini lesson: Strong Lead What is it used for? We use strong leads to get the reader’s attention.

Mini lesson: Strong Lead How do we use the strategy? We choose one strong lead that we learned in class. (Action, Dialogue, and `Setting) Then, we start our own essay in one of these strong ways.

Mini lesson: Strong Lead How could this strategy be useful? This will remind me to make my writing exciting to my reader by starting in a powerful way everytime.
