Resources
–All Content Areas –Healthful Living
What was the most beneficial/valuable part of the Summer Institute? There were some great ideas and thoughts gained from other PE educators from all over NC. Collaboration - Resources - application Information on integration with other content areas The two most valuable parts for me were: sharing of resources and collaboration between facilitators and colleagues. Being able to work cooperatively with peers from other districts using the different resources available for the Healthful Living Essential Standards. Info on Web sites and other resources to access
How will you use what you learned? I will continue to collaborate with other districts. Will follow up with those in other districts on best practices and strategies that work for a variety of learners Will use the website: stixy for use in building scenarios in: stress management and dating skills. Everyday in the classroom, getting better with the technology piece.
