The Final Spain VS Netherlands Spain beat Holland 1-0 The person who scored the goal for Spain was Andres Iniesta. He scored in the 116 th minute
The Attack The Spanish were attacking on the right wing. The Spanish player was surrounded by four players from the Dutch side. He lost control of the ball in a tackle and the ball was kicked towards the Spanish goal. However, a Spanish player got control of the ball and passed to one of his team. He passed it to another from his team who was not marked by the Holland players.
The Goal He passed to another player on the left, who then tried to cross to Iniesta on the right wing. A Dutch player stopped the ball from reaching Iniesta, but another Spanish player intercepted it and passed it to Iniesta who was still in position on the right wing. He shot at goal and beat the goalkeeper and scored.
Defense The defense did not mark the man in the middle who passed to his team mate The man who stopped the ball from reaching Iniesta the first time fell over and did not control the ball.
Individual movement The Spanish players kept control of the ball and did not allow the Dutch players to move the play towards the Spanish goal. They saw where the spaces were on the field and used it well
Movement off the ball The Spanish players moved the play over to the left side of the pitch and the Holland players followed them so when the ball was crossed to Iniesta it caught Holland by surprise.
