My name is Yakhin It My name is Yakhin It means lord of all. I am part of the Delaware tribe. I live in the middle east region. It is the year of 1456 This is my story...

Father could you please help me? It is very complicated to harvest these crops. The foods we usually plant are things such as Corn, beans, squash, blueberries, pumpkins, tomatoes and peppers. We live in teepees. they are made of long pieces of driftwood and animal skins. The girls wear long dresses. The men wear long sleeve shirts sometimes a cloak and a long felt kilt. Most of our clothing is made of deer skin and silk.

. We all live in long houses that is made out of grass and bark covered the roof. The floor was made of tilted crooked planks of wood but it is better than nothing. There are three rooms a sweat room (sauna) kitchen and bedroom. Our tribe divided into three main groups the unalachtigo (turkey), unami (turtle), munsee (wolf) I am part of the munsee tribe

Oh hey dad I forgot to tell you I was just about to go hunting with my dad. It is very easy to hunt because we live in the great plains where it is mostly flat so all we have to do is climb up into a tree and throw our spears and hope to hit our prey. We like FLAT land because it is easy to plant our crops and trade them with other tribes and villages

The weather and climate that we usually have is warm no not warm just boiling temperatures it made it very dry and in the middle of fall and summer the weather is just my kind of type because it is just about 75’F it is perfect but my dad says he likes the boiling temperatures of 100’F I mean what is wrong with him does he want to turn into a deep fried chicken in the sun the winters can become very cold from -30 – 40’F that is just how much hagnaffa (god of weather and sea) hate’s me.

It has been 3 years since I have written in this because I was taken away by white settlers and said to be a slave. I had just escaped on a English merchants ship as a stow away and I had just enough time to get off the ship and swim 2/10 (1/5) of a mile home.

I think I did well on this project I think I put tiny details in but most of the giant topics of my tribe I think that my over all grade for this power point in my opinion would be a B+ or a. I got all of the main points established but I think I could do better with punctuation. because I am not that good at finding the end of a sentence.
